🛫 Boarding the next chapter of my professional trajectory in travel and tech!
I believe travel organizations need to reshape their tech footprint adopting platforms which streamline their operations and multiply inventory composition and distribution possibilities, to leverage their assets, create new products and ultimately enable new business models.
🧳 I’m grateful to have been able to do just that at Alpitour World for the last three years, where we engaged both IT and business in #InNOVA, our digital transformation programme leading to the re-invention of how tour operating functions. I’ve been shaping Architecture and implementing connectivity to our sourcing and distribution partners from the privileged vantage point of the major Italian tourism conglomerate, and it has been humbling to do it alongside some of the most expert minds in tourism.
It has been a wild ride in these past difficult years, but the impulse to innovate never has faltered by Alpitour’s investors and President, by C-Level IT, Product and Sales, and by my fellow Heads of IT. And it has been embraced by my excellent Integration Team, whom I once again thank together with all Alpitour.
🌐⛓️ Now it’s time for me to engage in new revolution, back in the traveltech arena with Peakwork AG, which after redefining travel tech integration with the Player Hub concept, have now identified in blockchain both a catalyzer to solve the endemic challenges of the interconnected travel ecosystem, and an enabler of new ways to transact touristic product online.
I am honored by the opportunity to lead Peakwork’s efforts to bring Blockchain & Web3 solutions to our network, the travel industry and travelers at large. The enabling potential of this technology is now ready to be deployed and the industry needs a uber-robust actor to pave the way: we are ready to lead with our #chainsolutions team running, building blocks and connectors developed, and an ambitious roadmap to implement today’s and next years’ Web3 travel platform.
