🇩🇪 I’ll be at ITB Berlin, 3 to 5 March. If you’re working on agentic commerce in travel, or if you’re sitting on the Africa or Southeast Asia side of a corridor where cross-border settlement is still the embarrassing part of an otherwise working booking flow, find me.

I have a few slots open, and I’m working on something I can’t name yet that is directly relevant to both of those problems. DM me and we’ll find out if we match.

More broadly, useful conversations I’m having this ITB:
→ PAYMENT & SETTLEMENT: that gap between “booking confirmed” and “money actually arrived” that anyone running European-to-African or European-to-Asian corridors knows too well.
→ AGENTIC COMMERCE & STANDARDS: UCP is the most interesting one right now, and travel has a real window to shape rather than inherit the spec.
→ DIGITAL IDENTITY: what EUDI and the Large-Scale Pilots like Aptitude actually mean for your compliance calendar over the next 18 months.

Two colleagues worth catching while you’re there: Sam Jaarsma is talking about a UCP travel extension that could consolidate booking, settlement, conciliation and disputes in one transaction, reach out to him directly if that’s your architecture conversation. And on March 5, Hall 6.1, eTravel Stage at 15:45, Anke Hsu’s talk “Beyond the Buzz: How Blockchain can fix Travel Distribution” is the one I’d put in the calendar now.

Sixty years of ITB. What comes next is worth building properly.

📩 DM me to find a slot.
