Last week’s Forum Retail was impressive for the level of attendance and cases demoed / exposed, but also for the attention around cutting edge tech. It was great to share Alpitour’s vision for the #metaverse and experience with #nft, both Ca’ di Dio’s and the upcoming drops at VRetreats (keeping within our zero-spoiler policy 😊) The key lessons learned and thus the focus for next implementation will be on 👉 The intersection of techs to address advert targeting challenges, in the upcoming privacy-first world without third-party cookies, and how #blockchain can play a role there (hint: world-wide anonymized CRM!) 👉 Merging an NFT purchase back into the travel shopping funnel to make the best of both worlds in terms of customer journey: here no magic wands provided by Web3 in its actual state, it is all to be explored. ...
