At MXP and about to board my flight to VIE on my way to International Hotel Technology Forum (IHTF). Got some time to muse on the state of the art in #disruption management. My Austrian Airlines flight was rescheduled and anticipated to a 7am departure 😴 while the event begins in the afternoon. No big complains and that was handled professionally, although I would have much preferred to opt for the super-comfy overnight Trenitalia train or even for the Ryanair - Europe’s Favourite Airline morning flight, but cross-carrier rerouting is still something we can only dream of in most cases. ...

After ITB’s Berlin rigours ❄ it felt good to be back to springtime Milan 🌤 and still last week’s leitmotif of Web3 divulgement spread over the weekend. 🎓 On Saturday I had the pleasure to deliver a class on “Web3 for Digital Commerce” to the POLIMI Graduate School of Management as part of their International Master in E-Commerce and Sales Management. Very different atmosphere, from the ITB travel fair frenzy at the post-industrial Messe Berlin to the secluded environment of brand new Campus Navigli, and to teaching to attentive silence and the faint echos of the bustling canal with its cafés and stalls. ...
